Steve brings Lucy, a riverfront resident with a rat bite, to Kayla. He wants to expose the unsafe conditions with a dramatic stunt, but Kayla insists on proper medical care. Diana is nearly suffocated by a fake guard and hides in the stairwell, where Steve and Kayla find her. They take her to Kayla’s loft to protect her, but Diana refuses to explain who’s after her, leaving Steve worried for Kayla’s safety. Shane, Kim, and Grace set a trap to eliminate Gillian. Grace feeds Gillian a false “ending,” and Kim is lured to a cabin where Gillian confesses to killing Emma and a cab driver. Kim escapes, and Gillian watches from a helicopter as Kim’s bomb‑rigged car explodes off a cliff. At the church, Shane prepares to marry Gillian, unaware she has her own deadly plan. Roman senses something is wrong.
