Steve wrestles with his feelings for her, realizing she’s right when he overhears her telling Adrienne not to shut people out the way he does. Justin meets Adrienne at the Emergency Center and asks her to the park. Nervous but encouraged by Kayla and Steve, she agrees. Their meeting goes well, with Justin offering gentle support and friendship. Steve cancels dinner with Adrienne to support her date, then tries to ask Kayla out. Jack arrives needing her, and Steve steps aside, conflicted as he watches them leave. Calliope’s dog Martha marries Reggie in a chaotic, emotional ceremony full of pets and confetti. A mysterious man disguised as a doctor tampers with Diana Colville’s IV. Mike reveals he and Diana were college friends.
