Justin and Melissa hide at the doctor’s office as Lars arrives. Melissa is diagnosed with strained ligaments and ordered off her feet for a week. Refusing to tell Lars, she agrees to Justin’s plan: a fake out‑of‑town promotional tour while she secretly stays in Salem to recover. At Andrew’s welcome‑home party, Kim and Shane announce their engagement. Kim struggles with Andrew’s constant crying and his preference for Paul, who easily settles him. Victor’s tense visit rattles her further, but Shane reassures her Andrew will adjust. Meanwhile, Orpheus manipulates Olivia, who pretends to seduce Roman while secretly helping Orpheus. After Roman brings her soup during her “illness,” Orpheus warns her not to develop real feelings and orders her to continue the deception. Elsewhere, someone viciously shreds a newspaper photo of Kim, hinting at danger ahead.
