Marlena, held captive by Orpheus, negotiates for contact with her family by appealing to his love for his own children. Though he refuses compromise, he leaves her with a veiled threat about her family's fate. Meanwhile, Kim is taken to prison where she and Shane share an emotional goodbye. She gives him her ring to hold, and Shane promises to get her released. Back home, Carrie struggles with school bullies mocking her aunt Kim's imprisonment. Olivia takes the family ice-skating to distract them; she falls through the ice and shares a charged moment with Roman before he distances himself. Justin tends to injured dancer Melissa, who's concerned Lars only values her for dancing. Frankie sketches Jennifer, and Leslie regrets making a plea deal with Alex that keeps him out of jail while Kim faces prison time.
