Though their bond resurfaces, Kim tells Neil a relationship with Shane is impossible; Shane overhears, crushed. Roman suspects Victor planted evidence. Orpheus appears in Victor’s office, proposing a truce and warning Victor afterward. Neil, Paul, and Shane receive subpoenas; Paul refuses to lie, and Neil comforts Kim, unaware Shane sees. Melissa and Lars gain TV coverage, exciting everyone at Shenanigans. Barbara keeps Teddy away despite Paul’s efforts. Marlena is revealed alive on a tropical island, hinting at a larger mystery.
