"Steve is playing ""Silent Night"" on his harmonica in the park when he bumps into Kayla. She tells him she's been giving a lot of thought to what he said the previous day, about either accepting him for what he is or walking away. She says she's made her decision and when Steve asks what she'd decided Kayla walks up to him and kisses him. Eventually Steve holds her at arms length and asks if she wants to put that in words now. Kayla says she wants him and nothing else matters anymore. Steve asks if she really knows what she's getting herself into. Kayla says this isn't about her anymore, it's about them. Steve says if that's what she thinks then they need to get a few things straight. He tells her he's a free agent, he does what he likes, sometimes he goes out at night and comes home late, sometimes he doesn't come home at all, if he needs money he shoots pool for it and he likes to save his evenings for the ladies."
