Glen leaves for his award ceremony after Sylvia dismisses it; Jen follows. Melissa rushes back to Salem after Pete’s accident, leaving her wedding ring behind. At the hospital, she signs his consent forms and breaks down when Maggie notices the missing ring. Chris confronts Savannah, who admits she caused Tod’s death; Liz overhears. Jen convinces Glen to attend the ceremony, but Sylvia belittles him again afterward. Glen decides to move to New York to escape her, leaving Jen upset. Savannah reels as Liz and Chris condemn her. Melissa learns Pete’s paralysis may be permanent. Lars calls, offering support. Mike and Robin discuss their feelings; she admits they nearly made love but doesn’t believe in premarital sex. They agree to keep their distance. Melissa retrieves her ring from Lars and ends things. Ivy visits unconscious Pete; Melissa promises to stay by his side.
