Hope visits Shane and meets Gillian; both worry about Roman. At the airstrip, Marlena warns Roman not to touch her—she’s wired with explosives. He kisses her carefully and slips her a listening device, later found by Clark. Kim and Barbara go to Shenanigans, but baby talk overwhelms Kim. She later brings Shane a plan to approach Emma about Andrew, but Gillian appears in a bathrobe and Shane rejects the idea. At the clinic, Kim watches Noel until Liz arrives; Liz and Neil have a tense lunch as her career grows. Melissa struggles with Lars leaving town and admits to Hope she may have married Pete too quickly. She asks Lars for time, but he wants her now, and she lets him go. Roman and Hope listen to Marlena through the bug until the kidnappers find it. Marlena says she loves him before the signal cuts out.
