Hurt but hopeful, Kim later goes to see him—only to find Gillian arriving with her suitcases, and she leaves without saying what she intended. Mike and Robin plan to expose Dr Miller by checking his arm for Kluger’s birthmark. Steve agrees to help and later cuts Miller’s sleeve, revealing a skin graft. Robert is relieved to have proof. Kayla tells Steve about Max’s citizenship award, and Steve attends. Max refuses to start until Steve arrives, then happily accepts his medal as Steve and Kayla share a charged look. Roman refuses to cooperate with the kidnappers until he sees Marlena. Ordered to Havenswood airstrip, he finally meets her—only for Marlena to warn him not to touch her because she’s wired with explosives.
