Mike and Robin grow more suspicious when Dr Miller cancels the press conference; Robert arrives with evidence linking him to Kluger, including a matching birthmark. Kayla confronts Roman for jailing Steve, but Assistant DA Landon escalates things and orders Steve charged with Murder I. Kayla storms out, furious she led him there. Hope gives Bo separation papers; he refuses. Lars offers Melissa a six‑month tour, but she worries about her marriage. Bo overhears Victor pushing to ensure Steve’s prosecution and forces him to call it off. Kayla visits Steve in jail and they argue bitterly. Bo warns her again to stay away from him. Melissa later tells Maggie she’s turning down the tour. Lars visits Steve to say goodbye and insists he knows Steve didn’t kill Britta. Hope seeks comfort from Doug. Steve is released, runs into Kayla, and pointedly asks if she’s sure she wants to give him a ride.
