Jennifer and Glenn grow closer at the beach; he reassures her he won’t pressure her. They shelter in an old hut but stop before things go too far. Frankie and Max witness them, and Jennifer is embarrassed when Frankie teases her. Roman, holding Marlena’s ring, struggles with how close they were to finding her. Marlena briefly escapes, flags down a kind stranger, and calls Abe from a gas station—but Clark and the other guard arrive posing as police and seize her again. Roman and Hope reach the station too late, but a witness gives them the licence plate. Mike tells Robin he loves her; she insists they can’t be together. Liz agrees to a Miami concert only if Neil and Noel join her. In the captors’ car, Clark removes Marlena’s gag and warns everything now depends on Roman.
