Roman asks Shane for ISA files but only gets aerial maps. Steve and Kayla wake in the hotel, argue, play newlyweds for breakfast, then escape before the fake cops arrive. They hide in a barn where Steve saws off the cuffs. He asks if she believes he didn’t kill Britta; she finally says yes. Doug assumes Bo and Hope are reunited, but Hope explains they’ve split. Kim meets Gillian, who probes about Shane. Marlena defies her guard and later learns from Clark that the top man’s code name is Orpheus. Roman and Hope pose as buyers in Maryland; Gillian alerts Vaughn, who knows they’re nowhere near Marlena. Bo secretly brings Shane microfilm of Victor’s files and warns Gillian Hope must not find out. Roman and Hope locate the mansion, search it, and find Marlena’s dropped wedding ring. Roman vows he’s only one step behind her.
