Marlena fakes illness to rattle her guards, prompting Vaughn to send a doctor and later move her by ambulance. Steve and Kayla, handcuffed and held by fake cops, stall by claiming Britta hid something at Dock 52. They overpower a guard, flee still cuffed, and hide in a hotel by posing as newlyweds. Roman, Abe and Shane link their abduction to Marlena’s kidnapping. Shane warns the ISA wants the missing bonds, while Roman refuses to be pressured. Vaughn assigns Gillian Forrester as Shane’s new partner. Marlena escapes the ambulance and calls Roman from a payphone. Abe reports the murder weapon was registered to Britta. Roman receives Marlena’s terrified call and promises to find her.
