Hope leaves Victor’s house, furious he’s manipulating Bo, and tells Roman she warned Bo she’d go if he took the Europe trip. Roman urges her to consider Bo may be carrying burdens he hasn’t shared, and they bond over fearing the loss of the people they love. Alice is devastated when Hope says she’s leaving Bo and confronts Victor, accusing him of tearing her family apart. Roman returns from Atlanta with no medical answers for Marlena and begs her to come back to him; she briefly opens her eyes but he doesn’t see it. Later, in despair, he tells her he can’t function without her — and she finally whispers his name. Melissa struggles with her feelings for Lars, rejecting him but unable to shake the connection. Their dance erupts into a kiss, and Melissa flees, insisting she loves Pete. Hope arrives at the loft, clinging to a wedding photo, praying Bo will come back to her.
