In Palm Springs, Calliope and Jake try to escape the professor; Eugene briefly projects to them, warning he’s being moved back to Salem. Frankie and Max run to Steve after fleeing a social worker. When Kay arrives with her, Steve erupts, learning the boys would likely be separated. Feeling betrayed, he throws Kay out. Bo and Hope fracture as he chooses Victor’s Europe trip; Hope warns she’ll leave if he goesKayla and Steve regroup, agreeing to hide the boys until they find someone willing to take both. But when they return, police restrain Frankie as Max is taken. Kayla watches, devastated, while Steve holds the sobbing boy. Bo seeks Kim’s advice, torn between Hope and Victor. Kim warns he’s risking everything, but Bo still leaves with Victor. Hope watches him drive away, crying as she begins to pack.
