Britta admits to Roman she told Victor about Billings’ meeting to save Steve and Lars, enraging him. Billings is later found dying, whispering “Three Knives,” and Roman prepares to leave for Atlanta after a specialist calls about Marlena. Bo faces mounting pressure: Victor demands he take the Europe trip as a test of loyalty, while Hope gives him an ultimatum — Victor or their marriage. They briefly reconnect in bed, but nothing is resolved; Hope refuses to go with him, and Bo insists he must. Kayla and Steve clash over Max and Frankie. Kay wants Social Services involved, but Steve reveals his childhood trauma — his baby brother was taken from him, leaving him in an orphanage — and begs her not to separate the boys. Kay understands but can’t promise. Hope walks away, Bo torn between his wife and Victor’s world.
