Eugene escapes briefly and calls Calliope, but is recaptured by the eccentric professor. Calliope and Jake nearly hijack a plane trying to reach him. At home, Bo tries to tell Hope about Victor’s party, but Victor arrives first; Hope insists on going to keep Bo from drifting further into Victor’s orbit. At the hospital, Roman shares his Stockholm breakthrough with Shane. Kim sees Shane but he hides his investigation into Emma, who stays one step ahead after Alex warns her Shane is circulating a doctored photo. Victor’s party exposes Bo’s deepening involvement, forcing Hope to cover for him as he slips away to help Shane seize Victor’s illegal equipment. Roman struggles with Marlena’s decline, while Kim and Shane reconnect, ending in a passionate kiss. Hope finally tells Bo she’s suffocating in Victor’s world and fears what it’s doing to their marriage.
