Bo skips Victor’s banquet to be with Hope, but their argument deepens when she insists they can’t raise their baby in Victor’s house. Alice arrives with doughnuts, pushing Bo to admit they’re unhappy; he refuses and storms out. Victor is furious Bo abandoned him, but Alice unexpectedly invites all three to dinner. At the hospital, Roman dreams Marlena is awake, only to face the reality of her coma. Moments later she goes into cardiac arrest; the family gathers as Neil fights to revive her. Marlena’s heart restarts, and everyone speaks to her, hoping she can hear. Caroline and Shawn share a tender moment at home. Bo and Hope return to Victor’s, shaken by Marlena’s collapse. Roman vows to bring a specialist from Atlanta, unaware Marlena briefly wakes and silently promises she won’t give up.
