Roman spots Britta at Shenanigans but she slips away before he can reach her. At Alice’s, Jen prepares for Glen’s visit while Melissa worries about Lars, who later collapses and is rushed to the hospital — a ruse Roman and Mike staged to draw Britta out. Calliope tries to accept Eugene’s death, unaware he’s actually projecting himself from captivity. At the hospital, Robin and Mike clash professionally while dealing with a frantic father whose son needs a heart transplant. Melissa arrives in a panic, relieved Lars is fine, and helps Mike deflect the press. Eugene briefly appears again, convincing Jake he’s real before vanishing. At Alice’s dinner, Glen’s mother drinks heavily, upsetting Glen. Jen worries she caused it, but Maggie assures her Glen was protecting his mum. Glen later returns to apologise, promising to call Jen the next day.
