Kayla begs Steve for answers about Dr. Dennison and grows frantic when Shane and Kim vanish in Cleveland. After a bitter fight — including a slap — Steve forces Emma to reveal Dennison’s hideout. In Cleveland, Kim and Shane remain trapped until Bo and Hope break in and free them. Steve tries to prove he wasn’t involved, but Kayla refuses to believe him and the police arrest him. Emma reaches Dennison’s office first and burns Andrew’s file, destroying their lead. Bo grows closer to Victor, alarming Hope. Calliope tries to accept Eugene’s death, unaware he’s actually being held captive and projecting himself to her. Kim and Shane search Dennison’s office ruins, devastated but determined to keep fighting for Andrew.
