Hope learns from a riverfront contact that something big is happening on Pier 5 involving a ship called The Pearl. At Shenanigans, Roman tells Abe he’s been offered a promotion to Captain — a desk job he doesn’t want — and wishes Marlena could guide him. Hope brings the Pier 5 tip to Roman and Abe, who promise to investigate. Calliope tends bar with Jake, who gently helps her realise Eugene is only a grief‑driven hallucination; Eugene fades as she accepts it. At home, Bo tells Hope Victor tried pulling him deeper into the Kiriakis organisation, giving him a major assignment then abruptly taking it away. Hope shares her extortion lead, and Bo privately vows to uncover what Victor is hiding. Roman returns to Marlena’s room, confesses his fears, and begs her to wake up — and her eyes finally flutter, signalling she may be coming out of the coma.
