Victor arranges a lavish dinner for Bo and Hope, but they ditch it for a simple meal on the pier. Victor finds them and intrudes, leaving Hope uneasy about how fast everything is changing. Roman keeps flashing back to Britta and presses Lars for answers. At Blondie’s, he steals a note from Lars showing Britta plans to contact him again. Melissa worries about Lars’ secrecy, especially after seeing him take Britta’s call. Kayla finds Steve badly beaten on the pier and takes him to his apartment. She tends to him despite his protests, notices his tattoo, and sees him hallucinating Britta. When she returns, he clings to her, confused and emotional. Later, Steve overhears Kayla defending him to Chris, and when she falls asleep beside his bed, he gently covers her with a blanket.
