Savannah volunteers at the clinic while Victor’s men prepare to “send a message” to Steve. Robin is discouraged by her slow hand recovery, but Mike takes her fishing and helps her regain confidence. Kim, Shane, Roman, and Abe set up the exchange with Miss Harris, but Kim begs them not to interfere. At the park, Kayla unexpectedly appears, Miss Harris spots her, aborts the deal, and flees. Abe and Roman find the empty baby carriage with Andrew’s blanket. Kim breaks down, furious that Shane’s plan scared off the kidnappers. Steve annoys Kayla at the clinic, then leaves — only to be ambushed by Victor’s thugs. Bleeding, he hides under the pier stairs. Kayla later finds the blood trail and discovers Steve badly beaten.
