Eugene shows Anna and Calliope his nearly finished time machine, but when it powers up with fog, a stranger walks in — and later the machine vanishes. Anna assumes Eugene is pranking them. Roman returns to the police force, struggling with missing memories and flashing back to Britta. He asks Lars to get a message to her. Robin struggles with her injured hand; Mike comforts her, Mitch irritates him, and Robin finally admits she and Mike are more than friends. They kiss. Melissa prepares to leave for New York with Lars. She tells Pete things aren’t right between them and tries to discuss his shady business, but Ivy interrupts. Pete grows jealous seeing Melissa rehearse with Lars. Melissa says goodbye to her family and boards the plane with Lars, while Pete goes out with Ivy and PJ.
