Kayla tells Bo she’s moving home and will run the waterfront clinic; Steve immediately reports this to Victor. After learning she sat behind Andrew’s abductor on the plane, Kayla is devastated she never saw the woman’s face. Shane and Kim meet the lawyer, but the baby he hands them isn’t Andrew, and Kim collapses in grief. Melissa quits dancing, then discovers Pete is laundering money. Horrified, she returns to Lars and agrees to rejoin the company. Pete tries to quit handling Victor’s dirty cash, but Victor refuses. Melissa breaks down while practising, and Lars comforts her. Bo clashes with Steve at the pier and faces hostility from workers at Allied Cargo. Victor visits Kayla at the clinic, prompting Bo to run him off. Steve arrives with a wreath “gift,” irritating both Bo and Kayla. Abe confirms Andrew was flown out of Salem; Kayla remembers seeing a woman with a baby but didn’t realise it was Andrew. Kim and Shane vow to keep searching.
