Shane asks Hope to pose as his wife for their adoption investigation, but she refuses without explanation. Kim overhears and insists on taking the role; Shane reluctantly agrees. Kayla confronts Steve, returning Britta’s photo and rejecting his advances. Emma tries to “comfort” Kim and Shane, but Shane throws her out. The lawyer tells Kim and Shane a baby boy in Cleveland is available, and Kim becomes convinced it’s Andrew. Kayla debates taking the waterfront clinic job. While alone there, a drunk man grabs her and Steve intervenes, warning her to lock her doors. Victor pressures Bo to prove loyalty after learning he was on the pier. Caroline visits, begging Bo not to shut out the family; Bo coldly says Hope is the only family he can handle. Hope learns she’s pregnant but struggles to tell Bo. Kim and Shane prepare forged documents for the lawyer, hoping the baby he offers is truly Andrew.
