Shane is barred from the nursery now that the test names Victor as Andrew’s father. Outside, Victor hands Kim custody papers; Shane snatches them, furious. Victor offers to drop the suit if Kim raises Andrew with him and cuts Shane out—she refuses. He threatens to paint her an unfit mother. Kayla tries to reach Shawn, but he won’t discuss Caroline’s betrayal. At home, Bo gives Hope a music box for their anniversary but snaps when she mentions children. Roman is shaken by a newspaper story and by Carrie running away; he finds her on the pier clutching an old photo, begging not to live with “that man.” He gently asks her to give him a chance. Kayla arrives at Marlena’s and reunites with Roman, recognising him instantly despite his new face. At the hospital, Kim sees Andrew’s name changed to Kiriakis and angrily corrects it. She tells Bo she and Shane will raise Andrew, but Bo doubts it, fearing Victor will tear them apart. Caroline, hearing this, leaves determined to act.
