Back in Salem, Shane fusses over Kim as Shawn and Caroline meet their grandson. Kim tells Caroline she wouldn’t trade the experience of delivering the baby with Shane—and insists the child must be his. Victor arrives, demanding immediate blood tests. Neil refuses, saying the baby is too fragile, and throws Victor out. Shane warns Victor to stay away; Victor says he will only if the baby isn’t his. Kim decides the tests should be done so the truth is settled. Neil arranges them, and Caroline reassures Kim she did the right thing. After Shane and Victor’s samples are taken, Shane tells Victor the baby will always be his son, no matter biology. Later, Shane shows Kim the incubator labelled “Baby Donovan,” and she chooses a name: Andrew, after Shane’s father.
