Bo aims at John, convinced he’s Stefano, but Marlena moves into the line of fire and Hope shoves Bo, sending the shot into the air. John and Marlena run; Bo smashes the gun and chases them. Hiding behind a tree, John begs Marlena to go with Bo and Hope before he hurts her again. She refuses until he pleads with her to do it for his sake. She agrees—then immediately runs into Victor. Marlena misleads Victor about John’s direction, and when Victor turns away she escapes, hoping to draw him off. John sees them, doubles back, and pulls her behind a rock just before Victor and a KGB agent give up the search. Marlena tells John she won’t leave him; she needs him and doesn’t care about being safe. He warns her it’s dangerous, but she insists he’s stuck with her. Meanwhile, Shane and Kim fight free of their captors and escape into the woods.
