Anna tries to plan the gala while Mike and Robin bicker. In the woods, Bo leaves Hope to search for food and runs into Victor—only for a KGB agent to knock him out. Victor stops the agent from shooting Bo, insisting Bo must stay alive if they want the Pawn. Marlena dreams of shooting Stefano at the ice rink and wakes sobbing; John comforts her, saying he remembers none of Stefano’s past. She’s shaken when he says he can “feel” danger—Roman once said the same—and she runs. John catches her; she slaps him, torn between hating Stefano and seeing only John Black. They clean up by the river, she touches the phoenix tattoo, and they kiss. She changes into his shirt, and they kiss again while their clothes dry. From a hill, Bo and Hope spot them. Bo raises his gun, determined to kill “Stefano,” while Hope begs him not to fire with Marlena so close.
