Bo and Shane head for the cabin; Hope reveals the double‑sided coin and joins the search. At the cabin, Marlena tries to escape; John drags her back, demands to know why she thinks he’s Stefano, and panics when she mentions the phoenix tattoo. She reaches the car, John dives through the window, and they crash. Kim is crushed Shane missed the childbirth class, convinced he changed his mind; Peachy insists something serious must’ve happened. After the crash, Marlena wakes, tries to flee, but John restrains her, convinced he is Stefano and needs her as a hostage. Shane, Bo and Hope reach the empty cabin, find Marlena’s purse, then follow tyre tracks and her dropped earring. At the hospital, Caroline accidentally reveals to Kim that Victor slept with her; Kim later reassures her she hasn’t lost her. In the wilderness, John builds a fire and, despite everything, gently removes Marlena’s gag and covers her with his jacket.
