Shane learns Emma stole the note meant for Kim and confronts her; she taunts him about the baby’s paternity, and he nearly loses control. At the hospital, Victor sneaks into Britta’s room as she briefly wakes, warning her to stay silent; she agrees only if he spares Steve. Bo, Hope and Shane arrive too late—Victor got to her first. At the cabin, Marlena sees the phoenix tattoo on John’s back and realises he’s Stefano. She calls Bo, telling him Victor is trying to kill them and that John is the Pawn. John returns mid‑call and confronts her; she grabs a knife. Shane asks Peachy if Kim would want him as her coach, then learns from Bo that Marlena is in danger and John is Stefano. He rushes to the loft, where Bo and Hope prepare to go after the Pawn. At the hospital, Steve sits with Britta, terrified for her. Kim learns Shane did want to be her coach and drifts into a hopeful daydream.
