Mike tells Robin the mine claims it’s shutting down for ventilation repairs, but he doesn’t trust it and convinces her to go see it. Bo, Hope and Shane worry Britta’s vanished; Kim begs them to stop pursuing Victor but won’t say why. Britta goes to Victor, who offers protection and a place to live if she keeps quiet about Stockholm. At the Lafferty Farm, John searches for clues and remembers Petrov—and Victor. The farmhand alerts Victor, who sends Steve. Bo and Hope learn Britta has moved into Victor’s. Steve finds Britta moving in and calls her a fool; Victor tells him The Pawn is at the farm. Mike and Robin tour the mine, but the foreman disappears and the roof collapses. Steve finds John at the farm and realises he’s The Pawn, ties him up, then goes to Victor. John convinces the farmhand to call Victor, claiming the Pawn overpowered them. Victor orders him freed—just as Steve bursts in, insisting John is The Pawn.
