Bo wants Britta’s help to nail Victor; Hope’s hurt they kept the plan from her. Britta and Lars prepare to leave Salem, but Patch arrives and they clash over their past. At the clinic, Victor confronts Kim; Shane arrives and they argue again. Emma, now a hospital volunteer, overhears and later steals Kim’s file for Victor. Kim tells Shane the baby carries thalassemia and insists it’s his. Victor storms in, claiming the disorder proves paternity; Shane counters it doesn’t. Victor orders Alex to double security around Kim. On the pier, Hope urges Patch to admit he still cares for Britta, but he shuts down. Britta agrees to stay a few days after Lars pushes back against running. Kim later tells Shane Emma set them up; Shane says no one will know the truth until the baby is born—and if it’s Victor’s, a bond will exist they can’t ignore.
