Marlena checks on John after his collapse in the tunnels; he blames claustrophobia, but she doesn’t buy it. After she leaves, John calls Victor and demands more information about the Pawn. Victor refuses to reveal his identity but says the Pawn is left‑handed; John tests his left hand and finds he can write with it too. Bo and Hope arrive at Shane’s and find Kim’s engagement ring. Shane admits the engagement is over, and Bo is furious, especially with Kim pregnant. Hope convinces him to let them work it out. Robin and Mike release Nancy to her parents; later Robin finds Mike in the park and they talk about grief and Margo. Britta has a nightmare before Patch takes her to the Concert Hall, where the group shows her the trap door for Lars’s extraction. Marlena receives a bill from the National Data Bank and learns someone used her computer to insert John Black’s credentials. She confronts John, realising he doesn’t know who he is, and asks to help him uncover the truth.
