Calliope invites Marlena and John to dinner, but Gene’s security system malfunctions, forcing them through the tunnels. John becomes weak and agitated, sensing he’s been there before; Marlena takes him home, deeply worried. Bo and Hope head to Blondie’s but Shane pulls them into case planning. Kim bumps into Shane and is thrilled he now calls the baby her child, but furious when he insists on supporting her financially. Neil encourages Liz after her voice therapy, though Tod suspects she’s still sneaking to the bar. Shane tells Bo and Hope the Russian Ballet will arrive in two weeks. Peach urges Kim to try again with Shane and secretly arranges a romantic dinner for them both. Kim and Shane realise Peach’s setup, share a tense meal, and Kim finally removes her engagement ring and gives it back, saying they should stop pretending.
