At the loft, Hope arrives and clashes with Britta, who becomes hysterical when the balloon Patch gave her bursts. Hope tries to reach out, but Britta is rude and storms off; Hope loses her in the park. Neil visits Kim and begs her not to leave Salem, but she’s determined. At the airport, Peach meets Shane and pushes him to talk to Kim; he refuses, and they argue. John installs a new lock on Marlena’s office; Carrie still finds him unsettling, yet he somehow knows her favourite ice‑cream. Shane returns to Bo in a foul mood but eventually explains Lars has been located and a defection might be arranged if the Russian Ballet performs in Salem. Hope arrives, upset she lost Britta; Bo snaps, then apologises later. Britta returns, pleased by Bo’s plan. Peach finds Kim packed to leave; Kim books a flight to Chicago. Shane arrives, unmoved, and Peach vows to stop Kim herself. Hope comes home and Bo apologises; she promises to tread lightly around Britta.
