Jennifer panics when a student tells her Veronica confessed and Jen is in serious trouble. Later, the same student urges her to keep stealing tests so the class will protect her; Jen reluctantly agrees. Neil finds Kim despondent, the phone off the hook, and learns Shane left after discovering the truth about Victor. He drags her out to dinner at Blondie’s. At the hospital, John overhears Alex telling Victor the real John Black is dead and a wider search is underway. Before dinner with Marlena, John breaks into her office and inserts false credentials into the National Data Bank. Robin tries to mend fences between Eli and Robert. At Blondie’s, Victor corners Kim, insisting he won’t stop until he knows if the baby is his; Kim vows Victor will never get her child. Later, Alex tells Victor the Data Bank has “cleared” John Black—making John an even more valuable asset in Victor’s eyes.
