Shane celebrates with Kim, Bo, and Hope that the charges against him are dropped, though he and Bo vow to take down Victor. Pete is pressured by a loan shark who threatens Melissa, forcing Pete to pawn her ring to make payment. At Melissa’s bridal shower at Blondie’s, Kim accidentally finds Caroline’s old letter to Victor and secretly keeps it. Liz struggles with her role as housewife and hosting duties, while Neil tries to reassure her. Meanwhile, at the rescue mission, the Pawn sees a plaque and chooses the name “John Black,” revealing his face for the first time. On the docks, Bo rails against Victor’s exploitation, but Victor manipulates the workers and has Bo carried off after a fight. Victor enlists Emma to smear Shane to the press, determined to destroy him despite the case being dropped.
