Pete is pressured by a loan shark demanding repayment, but he hides the truth from Melissa, claiming the condo was financed through a broker. Melissa gifts him Bob Anderson’s ring, unaware of his debt. Later, the loan shark threatens Pete to pay up before the wedding. At Liz’s dinner party, chaos reigns as she insists on doing everything herself; dinner fails, and guests end up eating pizza while Eugene and Calliope share slides from Russia. Liz feels humiliated and cries at Blondie’s. Meanwhile, Shane and Kim meet ISA boss David, who drops the espionage case for lack of evidence. They celebrate with Shawn, who blesses their marriage and baby. But Victor vows to destroy Shane despite the charges being dismissed.
