Kim accepts Shane’s proposal and they enjoy a romantic night at the Vermont inn. At Jump, Chris announces Tod has bought the club; Tod tells Pete and Melissa he sees them as partners. Eugene and Calliope excitedly plan their New Year’s Eve wedding. Mike confronts Dr. Curry about Veronica’s surgery, accusing him of malpractice. Ivy returns from Haiti with finalized divorce papers for Pete. Jennifer sneaks in to visit Veronica, and they reconcile—until the hospital rapist attacks Jennifer in Veronica’s room. She escapes, but Marlena is knocked down when she walks in. Chris helps Marlena, while Mike comforts Jennifer and vows to catch the attacker.
