The Mountain Man is captured by the authorities after being tracked down by a photographer who was following Ayelén. Meanwhile, Franklin asks Miguel to continue investigating Carlos, as the young journalist refused to continue his work after falling in love with Laura. Victoria also tells a priest the truth about Carlos, but later mentions that she has no intention of telling her son. After discovering the truth about her parents' lie, Laura seeks refuge with Carlos, who tries to comfort and help her through the process. However, Laura can't take it anymore and confesses to Miguel what she discovered: the wells are a lie and a money-making scam.
