The endless feud between the two rival families, the Furtunas and the Koçaris, has been raging for years. Adil Koçari and Esme Furtuna, who once shared a great love in the past, find themselves on opposite sides because of a blood feud. In a moment of confrontation, Esme shoots Adil. Despite all the enmity between them, Adil Koçari refuses to betray Esme and claims, “I shot myself.” At that very moment, a Greek doctor who has traveled from afar saves Adil’s life. This young woman, Eleni—the daughter of a Greek mother and an Istanbulite Greek father—has come to Trabzon in pursuit of a deep secret.
