In Ocean City, Maryland, in 2002, Joshua Edward Ford and Martha Crutchley spend a night partying at the hottest nightclub in town, and then disappear without a trace. Police launch a massive search, but fail to turn up any significant leads. But when the couple's drivers licenses are found in the purse of a suspected burglar, it starts to look like this missing person's case will likely turn into a murder investigation. But who would want to kill this well liked couple from Virginia, and why?
