Happy with her secret relationship with Enrique, Mariana has fun making fun of Inés, who can't stand her sister's arrogance and almost slaps her. Saddened by Mariana's humiliation, Inés takes it out on Enrique, asking him to spend the night with her. What she doesn't know is that her sister is having an affair with the politician. Thanks to Germán's efforts and Enrique's orders, Memo can see the light of day again outside of prison. Upon being released immediately, he complains about his uncle's absence, ignoring his mother's joy. Irritated by the lack of attention that Enrique has given him since his release, Memo does not tell him his complaints. But Mariana decides to calm him down and finally tell him that the politician is his real father.
