Hosted by Alan Thicke and Tracy Scoggins and held in Taipei, Taiwan - This is the 37th Miss Universe pageant. There are 66 contestants this year, but only one will be the winner. The judges have voted and Porntip Nakhirunkanok from Thailand is crowned Miss Universe 1988.
