North Korea, the Great Illusion (2015x7)

In 2012, after two years of negotiations, Michaël Sztanke and Julien Alric had obtained a visa to penetrate North Korea. From this first trip, they came back with official pictures. They were never able to observe what was hidden behind the Pyongyang showcase. In 2014, they obtained a new visa to complete their film. This new dive into the hermit kingdom allowed them to answer questions that remained unresolved on their first trip. How do the North Koreans live? What is the true nature of this ludicrous regime? They also traveled to South Korea to meet with North Korean refugees who miraculously escaped to the south and testified.
