Starlet learns from her editor, Grizzle, that beneath Fool’s Island lies a special system that absorbs the joy of everyone living there. This joy serves as the energy source for Spruts’s factories, while the polluted air from those factories gradually turns the little people into sheep. After evacuating all the island’s inhabitants — which ultimately causes the island to sink — the shorties from Earth distribute the giant plant seeds to the Moon’s residents and then return home to Earth.
