Ben tries without much success to make Nick understand that his erratic behavior can cause them problems. After the day, Houle takes Ben to the restaurant Chez Marie-Louise, where the team meets regularly to unwind. Back home, Ben is surprised to receive a visit from Catherine, his girlfriend who misses him. Nick is not proud when he passes his bad mood on Theo, the son he shares custody with his colleague Isabelle. Her recent separation did nothing to improve her morale. He confides his problems to Houle and Marie-Louise. The sergeant encourages him to give his new teammate a chance. A dramatic intervention will help to develop a bond between them. However, Commander Gendron continues to insist that Ben provide him with detailed reports on Berrof. He threatens to relegate him to administrative tasks if he refuses to comply.
