Not long ago I visited ship historian Peter Knego at his home in Oceanside California. Peter gifted the Aurora a batch of ceiling discs that graced the ceiling of the show lounge aboard the Island Princess ( The Love Boat ) They were in bad shape and there were few options on how to restore these discs. I decided to add a layer of Gold to the discs or at least try my hand at this art form.
